I made my friend Jill into a zombie one night for my portfolio:
I'm looking to do more zombie/ghouls/whatever else for the special effects side of my portfolio. I know I still have alot to work on and more make up to buy for that. Its crazy how expensive makeup is in general (atleast the good kind).
Here's a makeup look I did today. I couldn't get any good shots of it but I did a double wing tip on the eye, blue blended into green with a babydoll pink lipstick.

I know I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy with my projects lately. Currently I am making a sailor-ish type dress thats in the works and a skull necklace (which might be finished today so I can post it later). I have started getting the word out that I am trying to start on my make up portfolio so hopefully I have some candidates soon.

Today for my make up I did a white blended into purple on my eye and a nude lip color. Cell phone pics don't do the colors justice but oh well lol.
I've been trying to score some photo shoots lately too. I've only modeled a couple of times and the pictures turned out so nice. I miss professional pictures. Since my hair is still growing out of a mohawk, I am thinking of purchasing some fun long wigs. I already have a shorter blonde one and its super nice. It would be rad to try on different looks, I always love changing myself even if its just temporary. Thats all for now, might be posting later today, we'll see.

I have been trying out some looks, hopefully I can sometime soon build up my make up portfolio.
I decided to go with a green eyeshadow and a magenta lip color.

On christmas I did a look similar to this but added some red and gold sparkles.

These pictures are crappy phone pics but I'm going to start taking pictures with a better camera for my portfolio. I'm also looking to start getting into special effects make up as well so I will need willing candidates who want to look like they stepped out of a horror movie <3
I got a giftcard to ulta this christmas so you know what that means..more make up and hair dye :-) I'm pretty sure that $50 will be gone in one trip.
On a different note, I have completed my recent crochet project. A twisted turban headband. Kind of reminds me of the headwraps they had in the 1920s .
So yeah thats what I have been up to lately. Hope everyone had a good christmas. I'm not quite sure what I am doing for New Years eve but I am more looking forward to My birthday(Jan 6th)/the day after. Having a big get together at a sushi restaurant with friends. I am really hoping atleast some of my friends make an appearance, if not I will atleast have a good time eating sushi with my sis (its also her birthday, yay for being twins). I will try to post pics after the event, if anyone shows up that is lol

I've really been thinking of opening up my own etsy shop lately, mostly filled with crochet horror related items. Last night I finished up my slit throat choker which turned out quite nicely. I have plenty of ideas for other things. The problem is I just wonder if any of it will sell..hmmm.
Well as of late I have been really wanting to decorate a house, but not my house. I really want to move into a larger size house so I can decorate/organize everything. It would be rad to paint each room a different color/have themes. So many ideas and no space right now :-( Just wondering how many more years we will have to wait till we can have a nice house. A house where I can have a bunch of people over for a party, a house where everything is neat and organized, and a house that I truly love. Oh well I guess I will have to dream right now.

This is a headband i made for my friend today. Its a multi-colored headband with a black bow and bone going through it. I really hope she likes it. I am tempted to keep it for myself but I just might make another one for myself :-)
On Monday, I am having a picnic with a friend. I haven't had one of those in forever. Though you normally should have those in the summer time, I feel like fall is better since its prettier and not disgustingly hot. My only worry is it being too cold but I can deal. I went black friday shopping at Joanne fabrics and bought a basket to bring everything in. They had some pretty cool deals. I bought alot of yarn that hopefully gets put to good use. It seems like I always run out of black/red/white so quickly. I need to get that in bulk or something lol I have some more projects I am thinking of doing soon so I can't wait to start on them. Mostly horror related, cause thats how I roll.
Atleast I'm going to be hella warm this winter so that will rock. I think I'm going to start trying to learn how to knit, I am satisfied with crocheting but it will make me a double threat if I can do both. One of josh's aunts was trying to convince me to learn to knit/crochet with string. I don't think I could do that, I have zero patience and I get frustrated too easy if things don't turn out right. I can see me messing that up pretty bad. Plus I'm pretty sure thats an ancient art, I mean I'm all about vintage but not into dinosaur age things haha.

This is a crochet project I finished not to long ago (this is not a picture of the one I made). As a request from my brother in law, he wanted me to make him a beard beanie. Its pretty badical if I do say so myself. I would totally rock one if I didn't already look like a little boy in the winter time so I don't want to add to the confusion.
I also have completed 2 infinity scarves and a schoodie (scarf with a hoodie attached). Both were fun projects but trust me when I say schoodies are not an easy project. I spent maybe a month finally finishing mine. Atleast I will be super warm in the winter time :-)
Here's some tutorials I used for the scarves..
